Someone noticed I mentioned Draggin Jeans in the Clothing thread. They have a web site:

I bought a pair when the company first started selling them. They're basically a pair of good quality blue denim jeans with a large patch of heavy Kevlar fabric sewn in behind each knee cap and in the seat area of the pants.
I have also tried leather pants and chaps, but I really like prefer the Draggin Jeans. As comfy as regular blue jeans but better protection (though not as good as leather). I think they are a good compromise between safety and comfort.
